TranslateSync AI Terms of Service
Effective July 28, 2026
1. The service
TranslateSync AI synchronizes a Google Document with a machine-translated copy, in both directions. Features may change as the service evolves, and availability is not guaranteed.
2. Your account
You authorize TranslateSync AI with your own Google account and are responsible for activity under it. You must have the right to process any document you connect.
3. Plans, trials and billing
Trial. New accounts get a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. It starts when you connect your first document, not when you install the add-on, and requires no payment details. When it ends, your account moves to the Free plan automatically.
Plans. Current plans and prices are listed on our pricing page. Each plan sets two limits: how many active documents you can keep in sync, and how many characters you can translate per calendar month.
What counts as an active document. A connected document counts toward your plan while you are working on it. If you mark it finished, or if neither version changes for 30 days, it rests: it stops counting toward your limit and syncing pauses. Nothing is deleted. Opening or editing either version wakes it, and it counts again.
How characters are counted. We count the characters we actually translate — the source text and its translation together. Text that has not changed since we last translated it is not counted again. If you reach your monthly allowance, syncing pauses until the next monthly period begins or you move to a larger plan.
Payment. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually as you choose, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. Prices are exclusive of taxes, which are added where required.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account moves to the Free plan. We do not pro-rate partial periods.
Refunds. If the service is not right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that first period, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Your documents are unaffected. Cancelling never deletes anything. Both the original and the translated document stay in your Google Drive exactly as they are; only the synchronisation between them stops.
Price changes. We may change our prices. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at until we give at least 30 days' notice by email before a renewal; the new price then applies from that renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use TranslateSync AI to process content that is unlawful, that you lack rights to, or in ways that attempt to disrupt the service or other users. We may apply usage limits (such as monthly translation allowances) and may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
6. Machine translation
Translations are generated by an AI model. They are high quality but not certified; you are responsible for reviewing translated content before relying on it in legal, medical, or other high-stakes contexts.
7. Intellectual property
Your documents remain yours. You grant TranslateSync AI only the limited right to process connected documents to provide synchronization. The TranslateSync AI software, brand, and site are ours.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits.
9. Termination
You can stop any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or suspend an account, with reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
